Part of the Salt Lake City metroplex, Midvale UT 84047 has run the gamut as a farming town, mining town, and railroad town. Today the population works in sales, in service, and in administrative support. Midvale has an art council which hosts or supports cultural events. A summer concert series invites local and national musicians. An annual Harvest Days’ Visual and Literary Arts Show takes care of the other two venues. A Midvale museum tell the story of the early origins of the town and what the region is up to today. Plaza Amusement Theme Park offers family fun. The town does have some public transportation to get to those sites but by and large it is a driving town. Having a vehicle is a must.
